Carrollton Rainbow Is Now Conducting Oral Histories

As of May 2026, Carrollton Rainbow will now be conducting oral histories in collaboration with the University of West Georgia's Center for Public History. The oral histories will be housed at the university as part of a larger public history project on Carrollton's queer community. With subject consent, they may also be posted on Carrollton Rainbow's website.

Carrollton Rainbow is currently looking for interview subjects. Subjects can expect a 30 minute unpaid interview that can be conducted remotely or at the university. In addition to oral histories, the Center for Public History also welcomes historical material in the form of photographs, documents, and physical objects.

If you wish to be interviewed, or to donate materials to the Center for Public History, please fill out this interest form.
