Volunteer Liability Waiver & Acknowledgment

I acknowledge that I am voluntarily participating as a volunteer for Carrollton Pride. I understand that my participation may involve physical activity, interaction with event attendees, and other tasks that carry potential risks.

I agree to assume all risks associated with my volunteer duties and release Carrollton Rainbow, its organizers, sponsors, and affiliates from any liability for injuries, damages, or losses that may occur during the event.

I confirm that I am physically able to perform my assigned tasks and will follow all safety guidelines provided. I also agree to notify event organizers of any concerns or injuries immediately.

Carrollton Pride Volunteer Code of Conduct

Thank you for volunteering with Carrollton Pride! As a volunteer, you play a crucial role in creating a safe, welcoming, and inclusive environment for all attendees. To ensure a positive experience for everyone, we ask that you follow these guidelines:

1. Be Respectful & Inclusive

   • Treat all attendees, vendors, fellow volunteers, and staff with kindness and respect.

   • Use inclusive language and behavior that supports a diverse and welcoming space.

   • Harassment, discrimination, or hate speech of any kind will not be tolerated.

2. Maintain Professionalism

   • Arrive on time and check in with the volunteer coordinator.

   • Wear your volunteer badge or designated attire while on duty.

   • Refrain from consuming alcohol or substances while volunteering.

3. Prioritize Safety

   • Follow all safety guidelines and report any issues or emergencies to event staff immediately.

   • Respect boundaries and personal space—do not engage in physical contact without consent.

4. Represent Carrollton Pride Positively

   • Remember that you are an ambassador for the event—help create a friendly, fun, and inclusive atmosphere.

   • Do not speak on behalf of the organization unless authorized to do so.

   • Keep confidential information private, including sensitive attendee or vendor details.

5. Communicate & Ask for Help

   • If you are unsure about a task or need assistance, ask the volunteer coordinator.

   • If you are unable to fulfill your volunteer shift, notify us as soon as possible.
