The Safe Space Network is a coalition of local businesses and organizations committed to fostering an inclusive environment for the LGBTQIA+ community and all individuals in Carrollton. What is a Safe Space? A Safe Space is more than just a sticker on a window—it is a public commitment. By joining this network, your business pledges to: Provide a Welcoming Environment: Ensure that all patrons are treated with dignity and respect, regardless of sexual orientation, gender identity, or expression. Stand Against Discrimination: Maintain a zero-tolerance policy for harassment or exclusionary behavior within your establishment. Support the Community: Act as a visible ally where LGBTQIA+ individuals can feel confident they are in a supportive atmosphere. How the Program Works We want to celebrate the businesses that make Carrollton a better place to live and work. When you join the network: Get Stickered: We will provide you with an official Carrollton Rainbow Safe Space window decal to display prominently at your entrance. Get Featured: We will add a dedicated blurb about your business to our website, including a photo of your storefront and a link to your site or social media. Build Connection: Your business will be listed as a recommended destination for our community members and allies looking to support inclusive local commerce. Ready to make it official?
