I’m proud to share that I’m one of the first businesses included in the new Carrollton Rainbow Safe Space Network as an LGBTQIA+ affirming Realtor. 🌈 For me, this has never just been about real estate. It’s about making sure people feel safe, respected, and supported when they’re making one of the biggest transitions of their lives. That’s especially true for folks moving to West Georgia who want to know where they’ll be welcomed and where they can truly feel at home. If you’re relocating to the area, or if you know someone who is, I’m always happy to be a local resource, not just for housing, but for community connections too. Lucy L King Arts is all about creating personal, hand-crafted artwork that tells a story. I specialize in custom commissions, ranging from detailed pet portraits and human portraiture to tasteful nude paintings. Whether it’s capturing the personality of a beloved dog or the unique beauty of a person, my goal is to create a piece of art that feels meaningful and lasts a lifetime. Being an affirming business means that everyone is welcome here exactly as they are. I am a dedicated ally and advocate for the LGBTQIA+ community, and I strive to make my creative process a safe, comfortable, and respectful space for all identities. I believe art should celebrate who we truly are, and I’m committed to making sure every client feels seen and valued throughout the entire project.

I am a heart-centered mortgage loan officer dedicated to helping individuals and families build wealth through homeownership. My business is built on education, transparency, and advocacy. I guide my clients through the lending process with clarity and compassion, making sure they feel informed, empowered, and fully supported from application to closing. For me, this work is about more than interest rates and paperwork. It is about helping people feel safe, seen, and confident in one of the biggest financial decisions of their lives. As a proud ally and longtime advocate within the LGBTQIA+ community, I am intentionally affirming in both words and action. I believe everyone deserves equal access to homeownership without fear of discrimination or judgment. I actively support LGBTQIA+ organizations, create inclusive spaces in my business practices, and work to ensure my clients know they are respected exactly as they are. My commitment is simple: every client deserves dignity, fairness, and a place to call home.

You crave connection and community – to find where you belong. You seek balance. I can help. I currently hold a Licensed Professional Counselor license from the State Board of Georgia. I received my master degree in clinical mental health counseling from Capella University in 2019. I have extensive training in working with individuals, couples, and groups using primarily a person-centered (Rogerian) and narrative approach, though I incorporate others such as CBT, DBT, attachment, and emotionally focused individual therapy (EFIT). My experience spans private practice, partial hospitalization program (PHP), school-based therapy, and community mental health. Not only am I a member of the LGBTQ+ community, I also continue to participate in continuing education regarding supporting and affirming clients from the community. While I do not work exclusively within the community, many of my clients identify as LGBTQ+.

I specialize in LomiLomi (Hawaiian style massage) and prenatal massage. My massage style is flowing yet heavy-handed, using a mixture of LomiLomi, Thai Massage stretches, deep-Swedish and deep-tissue. I have been a massage therapist for over 20 years. My goal is for your massage to be therapeutic, relaxing and also feel safe on my table so that you can fully relax and just be you. I have been involved with Carrollton Rainbow since it was started here in Carrollton. I am also involved in Free Mom Hugs and have been an advocate and ally to the LGBTQIA+ community my entire life.

We at Grace Lutheran Church are honored to be included in the new Carrollton Rainbow Safe Space Network as an LGBTQIA+ affirming church. We at Grace are proud to offer a place of unconditional love and acceptance for all people. We offer weekly worship, 10 am Sundays, and welcome all who come to the table for Holy Communion. We provide spiritual care and guidance, as well as weddings, baptisms, funerals, etc. In addition, we provide a safe space for outside groups to gather.

Purrfect Peaches Cat Rescue is a fully volunteer, 501(c)3 nonprofit that rescues unwanted and abandoned cats and kittens from local animal shelters, the majority of them from “Death Row.” Since 2015, we have found homes for over 7,500 kitties by partnering with Douglasville PetSmart. Purrfect Peaches believes compassion has no boundaries. We are proud to be an affirming, welcoming space for the LGBTQIA+ community, where everyone is treated with dignity, respect, and kindness, just like the animals we care for. We are committed to building a community where people and pets alike can feel safe, seen, and loved exactly as they are.
