LGBTQIA+ Homeless Youth Holiday Drive
Carrollton Rainbow, PFLAG Carrollton and Free Mom Hugs - West Georgia Area are working together to collect supplies and write holiday cards for homeless LGBTQIA+ youth in Atlanta to be distributed through a wonderful non-profit organization called Lost-N-Found Youth.
We are collecting new or slightly-used backpacks, snacks, travel-size hygiene products such as shampoo, conditioner, body wash, wet wipes, toothpaste, toothbrushes, etc., snacks, and MARTA cards.
Drop your donations off at TerraMar Wellness Center (305 Prism Drive Carrollton, GA 30116) any time before Saturday, December 2nd. Or, give us a call or text at (470) 729-1788, and we can pick up your items! If you're interested in helping, but would prefer to make a monetary donation, that works too!
We are also collecting and writing holiday cards for the homeless LGBTQIA+ youth with personal wishes of love and support this holiday season! Feel free to drop off cards you’ve written yourself, or blank holiday cards for us to write. Notes of encouragement and love are always needed!
In addition, you can join the party! We’ll be meeting Saturday, December 2nd at 11am at Chicken Salad Chick at 1765 US Hwy 27 Carrollton, GA 30117 to collect any last minute donations, write holiday cards, and enjoy lunch together before the Carrollton Christmas Parade. We hope to see you there too
